Speech Tutor Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
Data kept on your device
Speech Tutor does not require an account. Client names, progress, photos, recordings, and videos remain on your device and are not sent to Synapse Apps LLC unless you deliberately export or share them using an Apple sharing or mail feature.
Optional usage analytics
Usage analytics are off by default. If you explicitly enable them, Speech Tutor sends limited technical and usage information to the company-operated ACAnalytics service: an app-scoped device or vendor identifier, app and operating-system versions, device model, locale and country, app-launch and feature-use events, App Store purchase and restore details (product, purchase date, Apple transaction IDs and the App Store receipt), and Apple Search Ads attribution when Apple makes it available. When analytics are on, the ACAnalytics service also records the IP address each request comes from and details that our network provider, Cloudflare, derives from it: an approximate location (country, region, city, postal code, metro area, time zone and approximate coordinates), the name and network number of the internet provider, and technical details of the connection, such as the network protocol and encryption used. We use this information to understand app usage, measure our own advertising and subscription revenue, diagnose problems, and improve Speech Tutor. You can decline and continue using the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes payments. Apple may send us purchase, renewal, expiration, billing-retry, and refund transaction information through App Store Server Notifications. We use it for subscription operation, entitlement support, financial reporting, and aggregate analytics. Apple does not give us your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
Data we do not collect through analytics
Speech Tutor does not send client names, therapy records, photos, recordings, videos, contacts, precise location, or health information to ACAnalytics. Optional analytics are not sold and are not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Retention and protection
Optional analytics and App Store notification records are retained only as needed for the purposes described above, support, security, financial reporting, or legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Speech Tutor may be used by clinicians, educators, caregivers, or families. Do not enter or transmit a child's personal or health information through optional sharing features. Optional analytics are off until the device user chooses to enable them.
Your choices and contact
You may decline optional analytics without losing app features. For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, use the Speech Tutor contact page. Material policy changes will be posted with a revised effective date.

Data kept on your device
Speech Tutor does not require an account. Client names, progress, photos, recordings, and videos remain on your device and are not sent to App Business Ventures LLC unless you deliberately export or share them using an Android sharing or mail feature.
Optional usage analytics
Usage analytics are off by default. If you explicitly enable them, Speech Tutor sends limited technical and usage information to the company-operated ACAnalytics service: a random identifier created for this installation of the app, app and operating-system versions, device model, locale and country, and app-launch and feature-use events. The Android app does not send Google Play purchase details or an advertising identifier. We use this information to understand app usage, diagnose problems, and improve Speech Tutor. You can decline and continue using the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
Google Play processes payments. Google Play tells the app whether your subscription is active, and Google may share purchase, renewal, cancellation, and refund information with us for subscription operation, entitlement support, financial reporting, and aggregate analytics. Google does not give us your Google Account password or payment-card details. The Google Play Billing library inside the app may also send Google technical diagnostics about billing operations, whether or not analytics are on.
Data we do not collect through analytics
Speech Tutor does not send client names, therapy records, photos, recordings, videos, contacts, precise location, or health information to ACAnalytics. Optional analytics are not sold and are not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
